Everyone in the Black Cells here deep under the Warhammer Community Palace has recently become obsessed with Spearhead. This new game mode for Warhammer Age of Sigmar involves small armies fighting brisk games – and it's easier than ever to get a force ready for battle to play a few games after work.
The Battle Report team has not been immune to the seductive draw of Spearhead, and so they’ve recorded an entire league divided into two separate episodes. The first episode was released today, so we caught up with Nick to tell us more…
Nick: Spearhead has indeed taken over here in the Warhammer+ office! We’ve been playing it at lunchtimes and after work constantly. There’s been much boasting, bragging, bearding, and blushing, but we’ve had a whole bunch of fun. So much so that we decided to find out once and for all who was the greatest Spearhead player in the Warhammer+ team.
Four players have come together to smash each other apart on the battlefield. Our Loremaster Alex brought his Soulblight Gravelords, while Citadel Colour Masterclass Tutor Ed mustered his shiny new Stormcast Eternals. Office Coinmaster Lydia couldn’t wait to unleash her Gloomspite Gitz, while Videographatrix Laura brought her usual flair for conversions to her Disciples of Tzeentch.
